What does December 24th mean for you? Or December 31st? Or good ol' February 14th? For some, these are just fun days to have a good party and enjoy good food and good company. For wedding photographers, it means your new clients are getting engaged! Check out this article for other most popular engagement days. Your dream clients are out there friends. A lot of them. You are probably their dream photographer, but how are you guys going to find each other?

It's important to use the right hashtags so your clients can find you. It is always nice when your clients come knocking your door down, but you should also be looking for some of your clients – cause the photographer next door is!

Here are the most popular hashtags that newly engaged couples are using:

  • #ido
  • #engaged
  • #fiance
  • #fiance(plus diamond ring emoji)
  • #heputaringonit
  • #proposal
  • #shesaidyes
  • #isaidyes
  • #surpriseengagement
  • #proposalplanner
  • #willyoumarryme
  • #futuremrs
  • #soontobemrs
  • #marryingmybestfriend
  • #imgettingmarried
  • #feyonce (I miss 30 Rock!)

So get on Instagram and go find those #blessedbridestobe! Don't just double click their pictures. Leave a comment, tell them how beautiful their ring is. Engage with the engaged. Make sure your own Instagram feed and website tell the story of who you are and the amazing work that you do. Your pictures, the testimonials of your past clients, and your About You section can speak volumes about you before you even open your mouth!

If you are in the market for a new website, we know a guy. Or if you are just looking for a face lift for your current Showit site, go and check out the new designs in our Design Market. Incredible, new templates are being added every week!

Now get out there and wow those newly engaged couples and make them yours.

Hi! I'm Jihae Watson! I was born in Seoul, grew up in Toronto, Ontario and now live in Gilbert, Arizona. I love all three cities so very much as I have plenty of family, and favorite restaurants in all three locations.

I am married to a stud named Chris, and we have four fantastic kids. Together we love being a foster family, and we presently have the sweetest little foster babe.
