Wedding season is in full swing in South Georgia! It is a total dream for wedding photographers- live oak trees covered in moss, coastal views, fresh green colors and bright blooms. But with the season change comes the all too familiar humidity and wedding season exhaustion… it is no joke! I decided to treat myself for surviving the spring wedding frenzy with some new additions to my gear-

These Keds for Kate Spade are the absolute perfect shoes for wedding photographers. They are really the only way that you can get away with wearing tennis shoes to a wedding. I have received so many compliments on these! I added SuperFeet insoles for added comfort and it has made all of the difference! These shoes work so well with many outfits…. I admittedly stockpiled a few pairs myself so if you're in the market for a 6.5 you may be out of luck! haha! They come in silver/black/gold/multicolored/rose gold and come with both traditional and ribbon laces. I use the traditional laces on wedding days because I have found that the ribbon loosens too easily. And if they don't have your size and color head over to ebay because there's a good many brand new listed there as well!

I love this Bose Soundlink Color bluetooth speaker system! I stream music when I am getting ready for weddings and it makes prep time so much more fun. I also sometimes bring it with me to weddings for the wedding party to use when doing their hair and makeup!

So many photographers that I spoke with were experiencing back pain just to the right of their spine after wedding days. I knew that I had to find a new solution or be prepared to book massages after every wedding. I did some research in the Showiteer Community and got rave reviews on the Holdfast Money Maker camera holster system. I paired mine with the Sightseer bag and oh my goodness it was love at first use! I walked away from a wedding day feeling just like I did going into it. I can not rave enough about this product! Not to mention it looks pretty slick, too! I love the Sightseer bag because 1) It's modular and you can add elements to it like Holdfast's lens bag and cell patch. 2) It comes with a strap so that I can wear it alone as a purse/camera bag 3) It is balanced on the Money Maker so it doesn't kill one shoulder and 4) It's pretty sexy with the olive/leather combination!:) Matt at Holdfast is incredibly proactive at continually working to make his product better and better. I knew that I wanted to invest in a company who is so focused on client satisfaction and on the leading edge of camera holster systems!
