Let There Be Dresses by Tyler Kurbat

I’ve never met Tyler  in person. This is nothing new to me.  I meet people online all the time. Being a creative with an open mind has its perks.  I talk to people from all over the world and to me, its like just a small part of my life, all wrapped up in a sea of emails, Facetime, Skype and long nights of chatting.  Most of my brides book me without even sitting down to have a glass of wine with me, and over 80% of my Facebook friends I have never actually met in person, but are some of my best friends in the world!

I wish I could say I stumbled across Tyler’s blog on my own, but if I’m being quite honest here, I have to give credit where credit is due.  I found him through stalking an amazing film photographer by the name of Daniel Kim (whom I’ve never actually met in person and he lives in AZ, go figure! You should probably go check out his work as well!)

Back to Tyler.  Even though I haven’t met him in person and we have only chatted through email, you can just tell the kind of person he is, so fresh and raw, full of adventure and positive energy. It’s completely refreshing to read his blog. It’s very rare that you hear such honesty coming from a man, speaking words of love and adoration, and adventures you can only dream of.

This particular post had me floored, so much so that I just had to share it. The significance of something as simple as buying a dress for a loved one:  Your wife, sister, mother, girlfriend, and in his case it was for his beautiful wife.  It really is the little things in life that matter to us the most. Take it from me, I speak from experience- we often are worried about what to get our significant other, when all we have to really do is reach deep down into our hearts and the answer is already there.

Even though Father’s Day is coming up on us quickly he quotes this:  – And now, you might not be a father, but Father’s Day is right around the corner–a day to celebrate great men– and great men treat beautiful women well beyond anything else.”  Wow, so powerful.  Right? [pullquote]GREAT MEN TREAT BEAUTIFUL WOMEN WELL BEYOND ANYTHING ELSE.[/pullquote] How much more do you like this guy now after reading that?! Ladies? Huh? Huh?

Do yourself a favor and check out his post about Let There Be Dresses. This is not the last you will see of Tyler Kurbat- next week will be dedicated to Arizona Adventures, places I have never visited after living here my entire life.  You don’t want to miss that one!!! Come back and visit us!
