We hope to feature one complete brand re-design or makeover a week so you can see the principles of branding in real life. These articles will sometimes be an interview style feature or like this one, a quick review and link to a complete story on the photographer’s site.
Our first brand makeover feature is Kaitlin Noel Photography. If you don’t know Kaitlin Noel, well what’s wrong with you! She’s an amazing photographer, great teacher and most importantly, a super cool chick! In her blog post review of her brand makeover she covers her very first logo and website and then progresses to what her current brand looks like. I loved that she started from the beginning. Her progression to her current brand brings back memories for me. It’s so similar to how I began. I just put something up so I could look “legit.” When in fact, I was hurting myself in the long run. I wasn’t attracting my ideal client. But like Kaitlin, I realized, it just wasn’t “me.” It didn’t feel right.
So please read through her process to finally achieve a brand that “feels right.” I hope you take her cues on creating a brand that truly reads “me.”
