Spreads the Love and a Friend to All – It’s Cassandra Campbell!

FullSizeRender (2)For some time now, we've been putting up posts profiling the members of our Showit team, and today we want to give you the chance to meet the gal behind these posts. Cassandra Campbell prefers to stay behind the scenes and behind the camera, but the fact is, you all know her. When you see a post on Instagram and the image makes you smile, that's Cassandra. When you read the words beneath an image and think “yes, that's exactly how I feel,” that's Cassandra. When you see a featured Showiteer and you're encouraged by what you see, that's Cassandra. When you read about our staff here on this blog and you feel you know and love them better because of what you've read, that's Cassandra.

She first began working for Showit in its early days in Flagstaff, AZ, printing and packaging DVDs for our Slideshow software and then lending her skills to support for that product. At that time she had one little boy and was helping to support her husband as he finished grad school. Their little family then moved to Tennessee and became not-so-little with the addition of little boy #2. Cassandra remained a valuable member of the team working from afar and even made it back for a staff retreat with her baby boy in tow. Her little family became not-so-little again when their sweet baby girl came along, but three kids didn't slow her down. slideshowduoShe continued working and joined us at United 2013 in Santa Barbara with her little girl and her own sweet mama, where she smilingly served so many of the photographers whose work she had become familiar with behind the scenes. Over the next couple years as we saw the Slideshow and DVD days coming to an end, we knew we wanted to keep her on our team, and social media turned out to be a perfect fit for her. In working for our Slideshow product, she had become accustomed to seeing and admiring the work of our Showiteers. Now, in social media, she still gets to see and admire your work, with the added perk of being able to encourage you and share what you're up to with others. We couldn't be happier about that, because we want all of you to have the chance to know the woman behind the posts. Many of you got to meet her at United this year, so you know how much she cares not just about our company, but yours as well.

momanddadCassandra has learned to call many places home, and she embraces where she is and the people surrounding her with open arms. Born and raised on the east coast, she made her way west on a couple of occasions, finally calling Arizona home when her husband landed a job at the Phoenix Symphony, much to our delight! After so many years with Cassandra working from another state, we havewonderwoman had the pleasure to really get to know this creative, rainbow-unicorn-loving, homeschool-rocking mother of three. Since her days are so full and busy, she can often be found burning the midnight oil to get the job done. But she doesn't stop there. Cassandra will offer to give you a much-needed break by taking all of your kids for the day even when she has three of her own to care for (and homeschool!) She will bring homemade goodies to you even if it is not necessarily a special occasion. And we bet you didn't know she took her kids around town to find a red carpet to add the last-minute finishing touch for the United Gala, where so many of you posed for a photo op! She is committed and loyal in all areas of life–loving her husband and children, supporting her friends, and faithfully working to help others succeed.
