I am so excited to introduce Sarah Campbell of Intrigue Design & Decor! I met Sarah when I was in the Cayman Islands for Engage 14! I was delighted to discover that she is a Showiteer as well! Sarah is a brilliant businesswoman and brings fun and laughter to every situation!

What are some of your personal and business goals for this year? This year Intrigue will begin creating a national brand

Do you have a favorite event that you designed? YES! Actually I have many that I consider favorites. The one that stands out the most is a stunning nautical wedding designed at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

What are some of the best lessons you have learned as a business owner? It takes a lot of work to make it look easy.

What/who inspires you most? I am inspired by a variety of designers across the globe, however, where I get most of my inspiration is from my clients. My designs take flight when I am given a drop of inspiration from my couple or even their wedding planner.

Fun facts about you and your business: I smile so much my cheeks hurt.

What sets you apart from other decor/design businesses? I absolutely LOVE what I do!

What do you like to do when you have a day off? I love to a good Spa Day. I am always on the lookout for a spa with calming tranquility rooms and elaborate water features.

I have seen first hand how well you treat your employees! Can you talk a little about why this type of business relationship is so essential? I may be the face of Intrigue. However, Intrigue is a team and in order to keep a winning team in the lead it is important that each team member be working towards the same goals. Those of you following on Instagram will see that I commend my staff for being amazing frequently. Sharing their success keeps all of us excited about our work and eager to outdo ourselves. I also find it is important to share in opportunity so that employees see the benefits that come from our late nights and hard work.
