Showit just received a great new update with a big focus on new mobile features. Here are a few of the largest features in this latest release.

Tiled Gallery

The Tiled Gallery (mobile only) allows you to create an endless gallery of images on a mobile page. It's a beautiful gallery that will tile all of the images you put in the Advanced settings and when viewing the gallery you can tap on an image and the large version will show. You can then swipe through the large images easily. Tap on the background and you'll return to the tile view. This gallery widget has a slightly different setup within Showit so be sure to check out the tutorial video above.

Page Anchors

With the introduction of custom mobile websites we found our fingers getting worn out from the scrolling on long pages. Don't worry, we've found a great solution by allowing you to set Anchors within a long page and then you can link to those anchors within the page. Check out the tutorial above.

Page Match Report

Check out this great new report that helps you determine if you have matching pages between your Desktop and Mobile sites. Matching pages helps ensure that if someone receives a direct link to a page while on a mobile device then they will see the custom mobile page with the matching name. You'll find this report from the Site > Page Match Report menu.

If you first go to your custom mobile +Site and open the report, you'll be given the extra option of selecting a desktop page from the list and be able to copy that page over to the mobile site. It's just one more way to help ensure that you have the best mobile access for your site.

Mobile Preview

You've been waiting for it since the release of custom mobile sites in Showit and now it's available! Simply click the Preview icon on the top right of Showit and open on your desktop browser. You can then open that same link on your mobile device to test directly on your phone.
