Your Showit Site Launch Checklist

Launching a brand new website can be scary. There’s a lot to remember and sometimes you aren’t sure if you’ve covered all of your bases to ensure a smooth transition. Fear not! Showit is here to help with this quick and easy checklist containing 7 things you don’t want to forget when launching your beautiful, new Showit site.

1. Create Your Custom Mobile Site

Showit is the only platform that gives you the ability to create a 100% custom mobile site. Before launching, be sure to take advantage of this feature to create a site built specifically for your mobile users.

2. Double Check Your Design

Check and double-check your site design! Send the preview link (you can generate a site preview link by clicking the “online preview” button in the upper right corner of the Showit application) to friends and have them test the site out. Click on all of your links and try scaling your browser to different sizes to see how the site looks in various situations. If things are moving when you don't want them to, you may need to adjust the edge-locking.

3. Contact Form

Don’t forget to setup a contact form so that your potential clients can easily get ahold of you! Once you set it up, be sure to test it and verify that the emails are being delivered to you from both desktop and mobile.
