Showit Bookclub

Wanna read a book together?

Please?  It's a good one.

How do I know?  Well, a little jungle and it's friends told me.  And I have to tell you, I was shocked.

Shocked I tell you!

When I saw this book had five stars from over 10,000 different people!  And more by the day!  The book is The Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics Paperback by Daniel James Brown  I have convinced some of the people here to read it for the kickstart to our Showit Book Club.  Amazon convinced them, and I am pretty sure if 12,547 people liked it, you will to!  So, join us, won't you?

bc-july-quoteI promise you won't be disappointed.  Even from the beginning the book will inspire you.  On page 53 we read one of the first bits of encouragement from George Yeoman Pocock.  He says, “The very problems you must overcome also support you and make you stronger in overcoming them.”

If you find any other bits of insight to help us all our journey, please leave a comment here, or holler at us here, take a pic with you and the book here #showitbookclub, or let’s chat about here.  You check in with us, and we will check in with you!  Ready?  Go!
