Site Canvas Update

.

We here at Showit are so excited for the site canvas update. This is not a ‘red sports car' kind of exciting update. It's better. It's an ‘old reliable station wagon with fake wood siding' kind of awesome update! It may not make your site look flashier, but it will make your site easier to make changes to, and navigate. It's a win for you the website builder, and for your website visitors!

This major update has been around for a few weeks, and hopefully you have been using it to make your life, or at least your website building life, easier.

If you haven't heard about this update, or have heard about it, but don't understand what it is, then this blog post is for you!

Basically what this update allows you to do is it gives you the ability to create a canvas that can be shared across multiple pages of your site which is fantastic for navigation like headers and footers.

Our fearless leader, Todd Watson, has a very helpful video on our website, that clearly shows how this magic works.

But that's not all folks! There's more!

You can also add a a canvas or page from a completely different site design directly into your existing site. Did you check out our Shrimpsgiving.com website? That design can be yours! Check out the bottom of the website for the Showit Share key!

And check out the video below for a quick overview of how to do it!

I hope you found this blog post helpful! Happy website building friends!
